A Native Montrealer and resident of Laval since 1971, Reine Thibault-Goodrow undertook her visual arts studies first in high school and then for two years as part of her teaching diploma at McGill University.
With a strong passion for the arts, her continuing education studies led her to a Teaching of the Arts Certificate from the Université de Sherbrooke.
To better her skills, Reine undertook studies at the Académie des Beaux-Arts de Laval completing courses in Linear Drawing, Values, Portrait , the Study of Colors in pastel and a course in the study of The Masters. Impressionism and abstraction leave their mark on her style. Her subjects are greatly varied and include frequent portrait work.
Reine is a member of the Quartier des Arts du Cheval Blanc and a signature member, as well as Exhibition Chairperson and Vice-President of the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada.
